Blunt Therapy is edited by a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Addictions Specialist who has training and experience in the fields of addictions, family therapy, trauma, and co-occurring disorders.

Blunt Therapy publishes articles from any qualified writers who have an expert level understanding of the subject areas about which we publish posts.

Randy Withers, MA, NCC, LCMHC, LCAS, is a licensed therapist and the Managing Editor of Blunt Therapy.

Randy is a Board-Certified Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Addictions Specialist living outside of Asheville, NC. He currently works full-time as an addictions counselor at a large state psychiatric hospital.

Randy has a minor in Psychology, a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, and Masters Degrees in Education and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is licensed to practice in North Carolina but is board-certified at the national level.
